Wolves’ Leo Bonatini wins October PFA Player of the Month award
Wolverhampton Wanderers’ striker Leo Bonatini has been voted the PFA Bristol Street Motors Championship Player of the Month for October.
The striker took his tally of goals to nine for the season, hitting the back of the net an impressive five times in the month. That quintet of goals ensured he ended as the month’s joint top-scorer in the division and makes him a strong early contender for the second tier Golden Boot this season.
In the second of four divisional votes carried out over seven days, Bonatini polled more votes than the rest of the other five nominees combined.
